The supply of canned goods is very low. We ran out of food when we were
there in June. Clothing and toiletries are needed also. Drop off in
the church office.
Needed items:

* pop top protein (sardines, vienna sausage, chicken and beef)
* pop top veggies, soups and fruits
* new underwear
socks
shorts
t-shirts
sandals or sneakers
razors
soap
toothbrushes
back packs or duffel bags
shopping bags for clothes and food
belts
lotion
shampoo
deodorant/antiperspirant
Over the summer you may see more family and friends than usual. Tell them about our church's ministry at Old First. Ask if they would like to donate their clothes to the cupboard instead of putting them in the bins that are popping up everywhere these days. Suggest that their worship community or workplace get involved by holding a food or clothing drive for Old First. Invite anyone interested to come along with us. OK that doesn't sound like BBQ conversation - but you could weave it cleverly into a conversation with at least one person! Are you too shy to bring it up in person? Church School for children and worship take place
each Sunday at 10 AM in the main sanctuary. A nursery is provided. Adult and youth education takes place at 11:30 AM. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month. Activities on this web site are open to anyone who wishes to join us.
