Children & Youth
Every Sunday at 10 AM, children attend the first part of worship, including a children's message, with their families. From 10:30 to 11:30, they are in Sunday School. Our curriculum brings together the insights of nine major demominations and offers teachers and learners a richer, deeper understanding of Bible stories and how they relate to our daily lives.
Youth meet after worship service from 11:15-12:15 in the Youth Room. The program is based on a curriculum specifically designed to be fun and interesting for teens and relevant to the issues they face in today's world.
We offer a confirmation program for middle school age youth. The program includes mentoring, classes, and retreats. Other events for youth include an annual ski trip, retreats, and service projects. An urban workcamp at Old First United Church of Christ in Center City for 8th and 9th graders and an annual summer mission trip for senior highs are exciting ways of learning Christian discipleship.
