Our congregation involves itself in mission and outreach in several different ways. The first of these involves the financial support of designated mission priorities through local missions and Our Church’s Wider Mission of the United Church of Christ.
A second approach involves the collection of goods and supplies that are needed by various agencies to help their programs function efficiently. Included in this group is Community Interfaith, Project Hope, Chester County Migrant Workers, as well as our special Advent Mission Projects such as Bethany Children’s Home, Southeast PA Veterans Center, and Laurel House.
Finally, members of our congregation give of their time volunteering for the Community Interfaith Answering Service, Norristown Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, and Red Cross Blood Drives.
The church also provides meeting space for the Parents as Leaders Program and Narcotics Anonymous.
