At Wyomissing United Church of Christ, we take seriously our call to “love our neighbor as ourselves.” While few of us ever reach that goal, literally, we feel a strong obligation to direct a portion of our time and resources to responding to the needs and pain of those around us.
In addition to projects related to “Our Church’s Wider Mission” there are a variety of opportunities for service in the local communities around us.
Currently, the most active outreach programs at Wyomissing United Church of Christ are the support of Bethany Childrens Home, Berks Heim, Phoebe Berks Wernersville.
Wyomissing United Church of Christ began the first C.R.O.P. Walk for world hunger in Berks County, and is joined by several local Churches as we continue this tradition each fall.
