Our Sunday service of worship is held at 10:00 am each week. Sunday school for all ages precedes worship and begins at 9:00 am. Brownback’s senior choir leads the congregation in singing with a variety of traditional hymns, music and anthems.
Children are also an important part of the life of Brownback’s UCC — including our worship. While nursery care is provided for all services, children are included in our worship. After the opening part of each service, children are invited to come down and gather on the chancel stairs with the pastor. There, they talk directly with the children, often using props and sharing stories that relate to the theme of the day. After which, the youth are invited attend to Junior Church.
If it's been a while since you've shared in worship, come visit Brownback’s. It's small enough to be friendly, yet large enough to provide a beautiful setting for worship. Our service is very "user friendly" and easy for first-time visitors. And, the sermons are not only "good news," but they are designed to relate to the issues we face in everyday life.
