St. Luke's has many Committees which serve both church members and the community at large. They include:
*Cemetery-maintains the historic cemetery and prepares graves for burial.
*Christian Education- teaches St. Luke's kids about God, guides St. Luke's adults in their spiritual growth, and oversees Sunday School classes and nursery care. Also handles our elementary and middle school youth groups.
*Church Life- increases fellowship among church members by sponsoring and promoting community building activities and events including the monthly Men's and Women's Breakfasts.
*Council - handles the business of the church, working with both pastor and members.
*Endowment- maintains and manages the church's endowment funds.
*Evangelism- seeks to share God's word by reaching out and inviting the community to share in St. Luke's church life.
*Finance- manages St. Luke's bank accounts, operation monies and budget.
*Hospitality- serves members and those visiing St. Luke's by providing meals or refreshments.
*Missions- investigates ways St. Luke's can serve the local and global communities. Manages and directs benovolent gifts and service projects.
*Property- maintains the buildings and grounds of St. Luke's.
*Revitilization Team- St. Luke's has joined a three year program aimed at deepening the spiritual life of the church. Committee members attend workshops and implement suggestions to improve our spiritual focus.
*Technology- acts as advisors to various Committees concerning technical matters and manages and maintains church computers, website, sound equipment and other electronic equipment.
*Worship- ensures that all apects of the worship services are prepared. Includes yearly and seasonal planning, structuring of worship time and preparation of worship spaces.
