I have been to many Churches looking for the right match, but never seemed to fit in anywhere. God gave me the courage to ask my elderly neighbor across the street if I could go with her to Christ Church and try it out.
The only way I can describe my feeling after the first service was a "heart sigh"–I knew I had found my niche!
Everyone is so warm and loving, and never judgmental. The sermons are moving and give you time to pause and remember that God is still speaking. We only have to listen.
Two of my kids (10 & 11) wake up early every Sunday, excited to be going to Christ Church. The 10 year old has been diagnosed with a type of Autism and I didn't think he would ever understand God or be able to sit through a service or Sunday School – but my prayers have been answered. He LOVES it !! My 11 year old daughter wants to start a junior choir since she has heard our group StillSmallVoice.
I hope you will try out this little old church, just like I did. It has a lot of love to offer. And I hope you will find the peace in your heart that I have found here. It has been a blessing for me and my neighbor–now we have each other, and a lot of new friends for support!
I thank God for bringing me to Christ Church.
