Church History
Brownback’s United Church of Christ was founded in 1722 and our beautiful sanctuary was built in the early 1800’s. The fellowship hall was built in the 1970’s and air conditioning was just recently added to provide a more comfortable worship experience in all types of weather.
The Brownback’s family includes a mix of both long-time residents and families new to the area. And, some of our youngest church members are direct descendants of the Brownback’s family. Many new families moving into northern Chester County and Brownback’s wishes to welcome them to our area and invite them to join us for worship and fellowship.
