Pastor
Pastor Lyon has been pastor of Glenside UCC since 2000. She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and Duke Divinity School where she earned both a Master of Divinity and a Master of Theology in Ethics. She's served churches in North Carolina and Pennsylvania. During her sabbatical in 2008 she worked with impoverished children in the nation of Colombia

 | Judy Alpren
Director of Music and organist at the United Church of Christ since 2004. A graduate of the Temple University Boyer College of Music. Judy earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Opera and a Master of Music Degree in Choral Conducting.
Judy studied voice with Klara Meyers and conducting with Alan Harler. As a part of the Temple University Concert Choir, Judy perfomed with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Eugene Ormandy, the Vienna Philharmonic under Carla Maria Guilini and the San Juan Symphony. In 1978 Judy was accepted into the acclaimed opera workshop the Blossom Festival. She has been directing choirs and working in church music since 1981.
